I could not begin to tell you how excited I was to go to this game tonight. Even if it is game three, this was such a huge game looking forward to the rest of the season. These games mean more when both teams are good, and I was excited to see two good teams play tonight. Only one good team decided to show up today.

The vibes were so high in the United Center. As the team and starters were announced and the pre-game rituals were underway everyone was going crazy. The vibes were high even when the game started. The Bulls got off to a nice 12-5 start, everything was looking good and then Billy Donavan decided to call a timeout. Huh, interesting?

From there on out the Cavaliers just took over and they never turned back. New Cavalier star, Donovan Mitchell, went off scoring 32 points with 9 rebounds and 8 assists. He looks like everything the Cavs needed and more, and it is quite scary that the Bulls have to play this team three more times this year.

The Cavaliers just were not missing in general making every three and two that they were taking. It was pretty remarkable to watch considering what was going on on the other side.

The Bulls were ice-cold all night. They missed so many three-point chances as well as easy jumpers. Demar DeRozan just could not get anything cooking at all tonight to the point where he was so frustrated he got ejected.

One positive for the Bulls tonight was Zach Lavine I guess? It was good to see him back on the floor at least. Lavine had a nice 23 points to go along with 4 assists and 3 rebounds. Just does not feel that nice when you cannot win.

Besides that everyone played pretty poorly. Patrick Williams and Coby White seriously need to get their act together as soon as possible, or their time might truly be coming up here pretty shortly.

I understand it is the first back-to-back of the season, but the guys have to come out with a lot more energy than what they showed tonight. They played so poorly offensively and defensively, that my face was yelling into my hat the majority of the night.

Hey, I did get this really cool DeRozan/Lavine shirt they were giving away!

After the loss, the Bulls move to 1-2 on the season and play the Celtics at home on Monday. Need to bounce back big time with the day off tomorrow.
