Another week in the books. It was very good week of football. A lot of great games, and even better Fantasy performances.
This week we have a whole new batch of awards. The best and worst fantasy football awards in the entire world. So without further ado, here are the fantasy football awards for week three.
King in the Castle - After just missing out on the award last week, he did more of the same this week and managed to be the king in the castle. The King in the Castle for week three is Lamar Jackson.
Lamar is proving yet again why he is the ideal fantasy quarterback. He is going to get you points every week whether he is throwing dimes or rushing in touchdowns. Lamar continues to prove that the Ravens should bring him his money. 12 total touchdowns through three weeks and is the fourth highest rusher. Lamar is a cheat code.

Honorary Aaron Rodgers: I Hate My Family Award- To be honest with you I only thought I was ever going to give out this award once this year. After another bad week though, Tom Brady deserves this award.
What is going on with Brady? Even though it is very early in the season, Tom has not looked good. What did this divorce do to him? It stinks because this bad play so far makes you wonder, was there a point of even coming back? The day was sort of saved for Brady after he threw a late touchdown but 16 fantasy points is just not Tom. You ruined him, Giselle.
Jameis Winston of the Week: A lot of great candidates this week for the Jameis award. Sadly no one had the perfect touchdown to interception ratio over two so it goes to the interception leader of the week. While our king Jameis came really close to that interception title for the week, the Jameis Winston of the Week is Mac Jones.
Three interceptions by Mac is a pretty ugly week, but in the end, I just hope Mac is okay. Stinks to see another quarterback from the 2021 class face another scary injury but hopefully, he recovers and comes back soon. I almost do not want to give this award to Mac because I feel bad, but stats are stats, he is Jameis.
Kirk Cousins of the Week: Kirk Cousins had an extremely Kirk Cousins week. He looked pretty bad all game but Kirk Cousins truthers will tell you he had good stats and won his team the game. I really want to give it to him but there were a couple of candidates better.
The Kirk Cousins of the week goes to Russell Wilson. He gave us every single flavor of Kirk this week. Played badly but still won the game and choked in prime time. If you drafted Russell Wilson this year you are probably slamming your table very frequently watching him play this year.
Also, that was the worst football game I ever watched. I wish I could erase that game from my brain. I literally woke up feeling hungover after watching that game Sunday night. It made me sick to my stomach and I just want to execute the Niners and Broncos for putting me through that pain. DISGUSTING.

Missing: If Found Please Call- Tough week for Justin Jefferson owners. J Jettas had an all-time stinker versus the Lions catching three passes for 14 yards. Things will only get better from here but this was a bad week. I could blame Kirk, but I will not be that bogus to him. The Lions’ secondary just locked him up.
Honorary Chris Collinsworth: “Now Here's A Guy”- One of my favorite takes that I have actively said for the past couple of years is that you do not need to pay running backs, and there is a lot of backup running backs that are better than the starters. One of the guys I think is better than the starter plays for the Bears. I love David Montgomery, I think he is awesome and is one hell of a running back. But Khalil Herbert might be just as good if not better.
After the injury to David Montgomery, Khalil Herbert took over and hit the ground running. Herbert rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns, the rushing king for the week. He put up the fifth most points in fantasy this week. If he is available in your league, go grab him in case Monty's injury is significant. Khalil Herbert can be that guy.
You Just Got Jaguar’d: The Chargers just got stumped by the Jaguars. The Jaguars are actually a fun ass team to watch. That receiving core we made fun of all off-season for getting way too much money, is actually having pretty solid years thus far. Christian Kirk and Zay Jones are the weapons Trevor Lawrence needed. Lawrence is currently sitting at QB #10 in fantasy. By the way, shout out Illinois State. James Robinson is back. The #3 running back in fantasy and has been an electric factory. Are the Jags good? Maybe, yes.

The Ben Hudy 0-3 Award: It is tough out in fantasy land for me right now. I could use the injury excuse all I want but I just continue to shoot myself in the foot by starting Dawson Knox over Tyler Boyd. Just not fun for me at the moment. You know who is also 0-3, the Las Vegas Raiders. They have had a tough go of teams to start the year but that does not mean they should not have a win. In fantasy, it has been pretty brutal as well. Davantae Adams likes to catch a touchdown on the first drive and then catch two passes after that. Darren Waller has been garbage. The Raiders have been tough to watch so far.
Philly Guy: The Eagles are sooooooo legit. I just wanted to wrap this up by getting Devonta Smith an award because he deserves it. Smith was catching footballs left and right and was just being an absolute menace to that Washington secondary. It seriously is going to be a new guy every week with this Philly team. Jalen Hurts is the MVP front runner and he has spread the love week by week. Brown, Smith, Watkins and Goedert are all worth having in fantasy this year.
All in all, this was a very solid overall week. A lot of great things to laugh about and a lot of performances that we will all remember.
It is pretty wild that we are almost a quarter of the way through the football season. NFL is off to an incredible start right now and I just hope this season can continue to keep with that pace.
As long as we do not have more games similar to that of the 49ers and the Broncos, I think we are in good hands.
